The Bones material is a polymer plastic. It is light-weight and slightly flexible, and is very durable. You can paint a Bones figure straight out of the package, and that paint job will also be pretty durable. Bones figures are as detailed as metal figures, for a much lower cost. Bones miniatures are produced with integral (built-in) bases, but it is easy to cut the miniature off of the base if you prefer to put it on something else. It is also easy to cut the figures apart to convert them into different poses or change weapons.

This boxed set contains a gaming-scale model of the infamous dwelling of the Slavic witch Baba Yaga. According to mythology, Baba Yaga's hut stands on massive chicken legs, which allows the hut to change locations depending on the whims of the old witch. These prodigious legs can run faster than a horse, and a kick from one of the clawed feet can knock down stone walls.

Even though the hut is small, some stories say the inside is magically huge, sprawling with mazes and tricks. Other stories say that the interior is just a huge kitchen fitted with a gaping oven, as the old crone loves to cook and eat those who try to fool her.

When not found in her hut, Baba Yaga flies through the skies on her magical mortar, and she wield a pestle with supernatural powers. Whether Baba Yaga is a friend of foe depends on the traveler. Those dealing with the crone should take great caution before striking a bargain with her.
